Pool

The most current Pool Schedule is listed in the Calendar above. Dates that have no scheduled entry are blank because we don't have confirmations from either the Swim Team or Sears, the company which provides lifeguards for our pool. As soon as we have confirmed dates/times they will be posted and the calendar will be automatically updated.

Also note, that these dates & times are subject to change (sometimes daily) depending on Nautics' lifeguard availability.

All Camden Place residents need to familiarize themselves, their children, and their guests with the pool rules. Parents are responsible for their children and guests at all times, whether or not the parent is present at the pool. We ask that you help the CPHOA provide a family friendly environment at the pool.

Pool Party Information

There are various ways that parties may be booked surrounding the pool area. We have created this “Pool Party Information Packet” so you can book the appropriate facilities to ensure your party meets your expectations. There are three facilities surrounding the pool that may be booked for your party:

Were you to need more information, simply contact:
Monica Freeland
205.807.8031

  • Pool
  • Pavilion (Beside Tennis Courts)
  • Clubhouse

You may book the above facilities individually or in any combination, but there are different sets of requirements for each facility booked, so please read the following information carefully.

For all parties, please note the following general rules:

  • Homeowner parties may not be scheduled on holidays.
  • Camden Place residents must be present during the scheduled pool party. The residents are responsible for general clean up, placing garbage bags in the containers in front of the pump house and for turning off lights and locking gates (if the party is held after normal pool hours).
  • All attendees of pool parties are responsible for abiding by Camden Place pool rules (see listing of pool rules outlined below).
  • Parking for a Camden Place pool event is in the parking lot adjacent to the pool and tennis courts. However, if additional parking is required, then parking on one side only of Upper Branden and Clarendon is also available.

Pool:

To book the pool for a party, please contact the Pool Coordinator directly with your request. Regardless of the size of your party, you must provide the Pool Coordinator with a signed copy of the “Pool Party Rental Agreement” (found at the bottom of this packet).

If your party is 15 people or less, you may use existing lifeguards during normal pool hours and you may use the tables and chairs surrounding the facilities (excluding the tables and chairs beneath the Pavilion and beneath the Clubhouse awning) at no charge.

Please note that booking the pool does not grant exclusive use of the pool, but rather the option of having a pool party alongside resident swimmers during normal pool hours.

Additionally, please note that the tables and chairs surrounding the pool area are filled first come, first serve, so booking the pool only does not guarantee access to tables and chairs during normal pool hours.

Should your party exceed 15 guests, or should you wish to host a party outside of normal pool hours, you will be required to book lifeguards directly through Nautix and you must reserve the Pavilion space (see details below). You must have the number of lifeguards below for your party based on the number of attendees:

15-25 attendees = 1 lifeguard (during normal pool hours)
0-25 attendees = 1 lifeguard (outside of normal pool hours)
26-60 attendees = 2 lifeguards
61-100 attendees = 3 lifeguards
101-125 attendees = 4 lifeguards

Even if you do not have more than 15 guests for your party, but you wish to ensure guaranteed access to tables and chairs for your party, you should consider renting the Pavilion or the Clubhouse. Regardless of whether you choose to rent the Pavilion or Clubhouse along with the Pool, you would be wise to check the Pavilion and Clubhouse schedules (see info on how to do that below) to see if other parties are having events during the time you are requesting in order to ensure you will have the privacy you seek for your party.

For purposes of set-up for the pool party, it should be noted that you will not be given access to the pool area until the first lifeguards arrive (which is generally 15 minutes before the pool is scheduled to open). Guests should not be asked to arrive until after the pool is officially open. Coordinators cannot let you into the pool area prior to the arrival of lifeguards. No swimming is allowed without a lifeguard present.

Additionally, for your planning, keep in mind that swim team practice is held every weekday afternoon starting in mid-May, and every weekday morning through June once school is out. The pool closes at 4:00 pm on days of home meets. Please always check the pool/swim team schedule before booking a party as dates of home meets are subject to change based on inclement weather.

Pavilion:

The Pavilion is free to rent, and you can make your reservation (or check existing reservations) through www.reservemycourt.com. You must have an active account set up in order to make the reservation. If you are signing up for an account for the first time, please use the activation code CPTennis (case sensitive) when creating your account. As noted above, if you are hosting a party that requires a lifeguard (i.e. more than 15 guests or outside of normal pool hours) or if you would simply like a more private area for your party, you must reserve the Pavilion. Please note that if your party is being held outside of normal operating hours, the gate from the Pavilion to the pool area will not be unlocked until the lifeguards arrive.

Clubhouse:

While Pool and Pavilion reservations are free, they do not include the use of the Clubhouse or the area under the Clubhouse awning. The Clubhouse must be rented to reserve these areas. If you are seeking a kitchen, inside air-conditioned space, or the pool space under the Clubhouse awning for your party, you should consider renting the Clubhouse for a small fee. Clubhouse reservations should be made through the Clubhouse Rental Committee Chair. Even if you do not require use of the Clubhouse for your Pool or Pavilion rental, it would be wise to check with the Clubhouse Rental Committee Chair to see if any Clubhouse parties are scheduled to occur on the date of your party in order to ensure you have the privacy you seek for your particular event.
